The Best Box Trucks On The Road
When we think of iconic names in the trucking industry, Morgan is right at the top of the list. There’s a reason why so many box trucks bear the Morgan nameplate. Since its founding in 1952, the company has combined innovative design and quality construction to make the standard box truck body anything but standard.
With body lengths from 10 to 28 feet and door, bumper and lift gate configurations available to serve a variety of businesses, we feel they are the best box truck choice you can make.
Stepping up to meet the challenge
From our perspective, it’s relatively easy to run a business when everything is going smoothly. The true tests come when it’s not.
When the economy emerged from the last recession, Morgan was confronted with unprecedented demand. It seems everyone that had been delaying box truck purchases decided to buy them practically at once. Getting up to speed while retaining their well deserved reputation for quality was a significant challenge for Morgan. While many became understandably frustrated with longer than usual lead times (including us at times), we applaud the Morgan Corporation for making the changes necessary to increase capacity while ensuring their quality is still the best. Their plans to open a state of the art factory in CT is just one example of that commitment.
Configured to meet your needs
Morgan box trucks are available in dry freight and refrigerated configurations and a full range of sizes to support moving and delivery professionals. Simply stated, if you need to move or deliver it, Morgan has the box truck body to do the job — day in and day out. They will also add a lift gate, ramp or dump mechanism to help you keep your freight moving efficiently and safely.
New NextGen truck bodies are sleek and energy efficient
In addition to Morgan’s standard box truck bodies, the company recently launched an exciting new option. Their new NexGen bodies are lighter (15 – 20% lighter than current industry truck bodies), carry more (400 – 600 lbs. of increased payload). NextGen truck bodies are also built of non-corrosive materials to inhibit rust and keep the truck looking better and lasting longer. And, there’s more:
- The dry freight model features a stain-resistant floor
- The refrigerated model features a “silent” aluminum floor
- Both models have leak-free sealed joints to keep product, cargo, or tools dry, even in the worst weather
- The old standard U-bolt installation brackets have been upgraded to new hard-mount installation brackets to minimize repairs and maintenance
- The sleek, rivetless and seamless design lets companies install graphics to highlight their brand without having to work around bumps and seams
